Adolf Hitler – 1916-1965 – Failed Austrian artist who elected to pursue a career punishing all other European artists. After years of uselessness trying to work his way up in the German military post-World War I, Hitler discovered he had a strong oratory talent, which he used to bring a minor political party to power
